The Wagga Wagga Food and Wine Festival has become the city's largest one day festival attracting a crowd in excess of 7,000 people. It features the region's best food and wine as well as a first class entertainment program.
The venue is the Civic Precinct around the banks of the picturesque Wollundry Lagoon, located in the heart of the CBD. The festival is an event the whole family can enjoy.
In 2017 the launch of the 'Golden Plate' restaurant award took place. Five of Wagga's best restaurants were invited to showcase a dish of their choice and allow the public to vote on who would be the overall winner of the'Golden Plate' award.
With fantastic food and wine stall holders, free face painting and some fantastic entertainment, the Wagga Wagga Food & Wine Festival is definitely an event to have in your calendar every year.
